-The story of « Marie- Louise » like so many black women’s women story struggle and survival, has so long been consigned to the margins of History, yet it is so worthy commemoration, researcher doctor « Nicole Willson » said of « Marie-Louise Christophe », the first and only Quen of « Haiti » who lived in Britain in the early part of the 19th century.

-« Willson » who is a reseqarcher from the univdersity of « central Lancashire » in UK made thse comments following the announcement this week that « Marie- Louise », the first and caribeean royal to have lived in Britain, was going to be honored with a plaque of (49) Weymouth street,London, where she lived between (1821 and 1824).
